Caleb Baker Cabin Fundraiser

We are honored to announce that we are naming a cabin on Creative in memory of Caleb Baker, a beloved member of our Disciples Crossing family. Caleb was more than just a camper, counselor, and leader — his infectious joy, unwavering kindness, and deep love of camp left a lasting mark on this sacred place.
Caleb was part of the first team of interns who launched our intern program. As a camper, he served as a steward, a member of the Youth Ministry Council, and a representative on the Regional Youth Council. He made lifelong friendships and was a friend to all.
As an adult, he continued serving as a steward, counselor, retreat director, and a member of the Chi Rho Committee. He loved the silliness of camp, especially leading energizers, with Little Red Wagon being his favorite, but also cherished quiet moments in God’s creation.
We are launching the Caleb Baker Cabin Fundraiser to transform this cabin into a lasting place of comfort, reflection, and connection for future generations. We invite you to join us in honoring Caleb’s memory and ensuring his impact lives on. Any funds raised beyond the cost of the cabin will go toward improving and maintaining Creative Camp, continuing the spirit of joy and community that Caleb loved so much.
Let’s come together to celebrate Caleb’s legacy and continue the work he loved so much.
